As of November, Notre Dame Wrestling is back in season. There is a lot of excitement surrounding the wrestling team as they return two state qualifiers from last year among a total of seven wrestlers, including two freshmen and two seniors.

Wrestling Team Captain Ethan Jackson is ready to get to work this year and make everybody on the team better. 

“The whole team returns a lot of experience and has already been wrestling hard in practice,” said Jackson. 

Jackson said some of his goals for the season are to “medal at state and help the underclassmen on the team grow and succeed.” 

There will be plenty of opportunities for Notre Dame Wrestling as they have fourteen regular season meets and 7 tournaments on the schedule this year, including four home meets. Wrestling’s first meet of the season is on November 29th at home.
