Notre Dame Regional High School is excited to announce our first ever Aquinas Teach Grants. Watch the videos below from our faculty that detail four grant projects we are hoping to fund through community support. In this season of giving, we ask that you consider helping our students and faculty by supporting a project. Every dollar will go directly toward the project of your choosing. THANK YOU for supporting our school!
Help us fund new fish tanks for Notre Dame! This project would include replacing our current, aging fish tanks with new fresh water, salt water & brackish tanks. Learn more about the project and how it impacts student learning from Mrs. Mary Beth Green at the video above.
The Turnitin program is designed to help teachers improve student writing, and is used by all students for grammar, citations and similarity reports. Watch the video above to hear Mrs. Annita Layton explains why funding this subscription is so vital for the school.
Notre Dame students greatly benefited from our lunch period writing lab where students had the opportunity for extra writing instruction from a licensed Communication Arts teacher during the 2021-2022 school year. The writing lab was funded through a COVID grant, which is now unavailable. Mr. Paul Unterreiner explains the importance of the writing lab and the funding needs in the video above.
The Family & Consumer Science (FACS) lab is in need of an upgrade. An updated FACS lab will allow students to have experience with hands-on activities that involve critical thinking & problem solving in a safe classroom. Ms. Amy Wibbenmeyer details the FACS lab upgrades and why funding this project is so important for the 300 students in 10th-12th grade who take a Family & Consumer Science course.
