Tammy Graham likes to say her job title is “Girl Friday.” That’s because, as a part time administrative assistant in Notre Dame’s main office, she works on a variety of projects, and says no two days are the same.

Graham, who started as a volunteer at Notre Dame in 2008, is leaving the school this spring. She came on staff when she was hired to work part-time in the main office by Brother David Migliorino, OSF, in 2012.

In addition to assisting with main office functions, being part of the enrollment and registration processes, graduation, and a variety of other projects, Graham has played an important role in the performing and visual arts at Notre Dame. She is the online ticket sales coordinator for the fall play and spring musicals, manages the musical ad patron drive, and puts together the programs for both productions.

“Over the years, Tammy has taken on so many different projects and made them her own,” said Principal Tim Garner. “She has been able to bring professionalism, class and charm to all of her work. Her passions have always been in the arts and has been instrumental to the performing and visual arts at the school. She has undertaken the coordination of all things involved in the plays and musicals along with countless hours in helping registration and enrollment go smoothly.”

The productions are close to her heart, as her favorite memories of Notre Dame “are those of my children, Chelsea (’12) and Will (’15), in the plays and musicals through the years.”

Graham says she has “built the most wonderful relationships” with faculty and staff that she knows will last a lifetime.

“Of course, I cannot thank everyone enough for the many, many prayers that were said for our family when my husband, Keith, was critically ill during the pandemic,” Graham added. “It has been a blessing to work in a building that feels like a family and that truly exemplifies faith.”

Graham is leaving Notre Dame to focus on the travel business she started five years. She turned a passion for travel and all things Disney into, at the time, a part-time business as a travel specialist (www.tammygrahamtravel.com). As her business has grown, she is devoting more time to “continuing to help families create magical memories together.”

“Her kindness and calming personality will be missed as she transitions fulltime into her travel business,” Garner said. “In the wise words of Peter Pan, ‘There it is, Wendy! Second star to the right, and straight on ’til morning.’ Thank you for the adventure.”
